Hi everyone! Long time no write (not a thing?). Not going to lie, nothing really felt as great or worth writing about as being engaged did so I've held off from blogging for a little while after the last post. But I'm back! And coming at you with a super fun post that I've been excited to write since we even planned this trip a couple months ago. If the title hadn't given it away already, me and a few of my best girls hopped on a train to the city of love and Disneyland for a few days of fun, food and friends...

WHY BANK HOLIDAYS ARE GOOD FOR YOUR SOUL

Bank Holiday. The two little words that send the whole of the UK into an endorphin-filled frenzy and get everyone dusting off their BBQ's, buying Waitrose out of house and home, and help make the two weeks that sandwich either side of the golden weekend a little more bearable... 

MAMASON'S DIRTY ICE CREAM

When one of your closest friends tells you she's taking you to a place that does, quote: "The best Hot Chocolate" she's ever tasted, you don't say no. But when she adds onto that sentence that the place we're going to swaps out your classic milk cocoa for a Filipino VEGETABLE called an Ube, suddenly you begin to question her judgement. But after spending approximately 2 hours and taking a casual 100 photos of Mamasons, boy was I eating my words (and all the delicious Ube treats)...

Now, I don't know about you, but this week (and every week for the rest of the year) i'm feeling 22 (waited so long to sing that, thanks Tay Swift). To celebrate, Josh and I flew to Denmark's capital for a surprise birthday treat!

February is my favourite month, because it's still winter (which I love) but it doesn't seem nearly as depressing as January does. I mean, it also helps that it is my birthday month (the 8th, just in case anyone was wondering ;) but there is also another holiday that takes place just after my birthday that some people love, and some people hate- Valentines day...
